According to new research from Ampere Analysis reported by Mark Sweney in The Guardian, Western European subscribers to Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video have faced the highest average price increases globally over the last three years. Regional prices jumped by an average of $1.86, or 16%, narrowly outpacing North America's $1.70 (15%) increase as major platforms push to fund content and drive profits.

WHY THIS MATTERSEvery time your monthly bill creeps up to fund a new prestige drama or profit margin, it's coming straight out of your disposable income. If you're tired of paying more for the same rotation of background noise, it's time to start rotating your active subscriptions instead of paying for all three year-round.
